As there is a limit of acreage planted, so many developed countries are now renting the lands for a long term for sowing in Africa and Latin America in order to, however, satisfy a growing demand on food for its citizens. It means that to increase the agricultural production by simple increase of areas planted by crops will become soon impossible.
